A NEW workshop exploring how yoga practice can develop a more physically present and grounded choral singer, taught by Justin Montigne. For beginning to advanced singers.

Four Wednesday nights in July during which a diverse group of choral singers works through one or more great choral works under a master conductor.

SIGHTSINGING TOOLKIT
Have an audition coming up? Want to have a more enjoyable choral experience? Then come and increase your sightsinging skills by singing beautiful music from the masters, while learning and improving your Solfege.

JOSQUIN WORKSHOP
All singers with choral and/or solo background are invited to participate in our January sightsinging series, The Sacred Music of Josquin Deprez. This class will explore Josquin's masses and motets in small and medium-sized ensembles.

A one-hour radio show with choral emphasis hosted by Bob Worth, Jenny Bent and SCCS members Anthony Martin, Dan Solter, and Steve Osborn.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR COLLABORATIONS
Annual projects combining local children's choirs with adult ensembles in performances and recordings of great choral works.
CHOIR TOURS
International concert tours to locations such as Mexico, Italy and Germany, in which SCCS singers perform choral music in the cities-sometimes in the very churches in which the composers worked. Check out a slide show of our 1999 Italy tour and two slide shows of our 2005 Germany tour.
CHORAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT
In cooperation with SSU's Schulz Library staff, SCCS is sponsoring the evaluation and expansion of University holdings in the choral area.
HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR FESTIVAL
Brings together 10-12 high school ensembles to sing for each other and for a master teacher, who provides both written comments and a live clinic with each group.
CLINICS WITH LOCAL CHOIRS
Opportunities for local high school ensembles to work under SCCS Music Director Bob Worth and other teachers on repertoire, on vocal technique, and on musicianship skills. To arrange a clinic, call Bob at 707-664-2218 or send an email to worth@sonoma.edu.
LIFELONG LEARNING CLASSES
A series of offerings in the choral area under consideration (in consultation with SCCS) for SSU's Lifelong Learning Institute. May include travel opportunities.
