    Monteverdi in Love

    The SSU Chamber Singers, joined by a period-instrument ensemble led by Baroque violinist Michael Sand, will perform a concert of madrigals, canzonette and scherzi exploring the roller-coaster of love. The repertoire will range from Monteverdi's earliest, light pieces to his most complex late-period works. Don't miss this great opportunity to hear a precocious 17-year-old develop into a ground-breaking master, all through the lens of love!
