From contemporary interpretations of the chants of the great mystic Hildegard von Bingem to Vaughn Williams settings of William Blake poetry for oboe and voice, from Elizabethan songs of John Dowland for lute and voice to music of the modern singer/songwriter troubadours for guitar and voice, including James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Dan Fogelberg and others, this concert spans nearly a millenium of inspired music on the themes of Life, Love and Inspiration.
